Cosmo brings his extensive education and experience as both a hockey player and coach to benefit athletes as well as those seeking a healthier lifestyle. In late 2008 Cosmo formed CC Hockey Systems to create a program to address the development needs of hockey players aspiring to play at the highest competitive levels. This concept goes beyond simple on/off ice training to include all areas of the game: physical, technical, tactical and mental. Cosmo actively embraces the role of mentor and sounding board and makes himself available to his athletes whether in Dallas training or while away during the season.
His expertise has been sought out by hockey players at the highest levels – (for example, in November 2012, he was asked by the Sidney Crosby Group to conduct a week-long camp during the NHL lockout. Attendees included Sidney Crosby, Devon Dubnyck, James Neal, Trevor Daly, Vern Fiddler, Sheldon Souray, Brendan Morrow, Chris Kunitz, Cam Fowler, Steve Ott, etc….)
Cosmo received his Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies/Fitness (BRLS) from Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
